Foresight Friday: Time to Act With Intention
Divination Method: The Pulp Tarot
Card Drawn: The Hanged Man, Reversed
Key Words: Impatience, Rashness, Impulsiveness, Lack of Direction, Unbalanced
My Foresight Friday Interpretation:
Hi there, friends! I hope you all survived the heat wave and enjoyed your 4th of July (regardless of whether or not it's a holiday where you live 😘).
I had a great time with my peeps despite the heat and occasional bout of rain. The view and the finish made it all worthwhile.
Now, let's see what the cards have to say...
The Pulp Tarot is still on the tarot altar, so I shuffled it up... and the card that presented itself to us is: The Hanged Man in the reversed position.
Depicted on this card is a far-happier-looking-than-he-ought-to-be dude in casual clothes. He's hanging by a rope that's tied around one of his ankles and is dangling above a bustling crowd with a faded image of a metropolis in the background.
If this card were upright, it would indicate that we were feeling trapped in some way, and we may be panicked and trying too hard to struggle against the situation.
Being reversed, this indicates that we're more in a haphazard state of being. We're moving from one thing to the next without much thought at all.
While Impulsiveness can sometimes be a virtue, it's currently leading us frazzled and dissatisfied.
The thing that this card needs us to do, regardless of its orientation, is to pause.
We're flying around, doing this, that, and whatever... but is it all necessary? Are these the things that will bring us satisfaction, contentment, or a feeling of accomplishment?
Then... what the hell are we doing??
We must pause and think about what it is we really want or need to be doing. If there's something we've been putting off in favor of less important things, it's time to change course.
Whether we're being rash out of wish to avoid something, or because we're just feeling truly directionless, it's time to find our way.
We don't need to have a fully fleshed out scenario in mind, but we should definitely settle on a general direction and at least a starter goal.
After that, start moving in that direction while keeping our eyes on the prize. No more willy-nilly nonsense. It's time to Act With Intention.
Until Next Time, Pixilators!
