Foresight Friday: Cleverness Trumps Brutality

My Foresight Friday Interpretation: 

Happy Foresight Friday, Friends! The weather is warming, the sun shines a little more each day, and we're starting to get our gardens ready for planting here in Pixieland. AND, I'm going to get a new tattoo with my kid tomorrow! I'm so stoked. 

Anywhoodles, on to the cards...

The Princess Bride Tarot is amazing, but Good Omens was calling to me this week. 

They were up to the task, as expected. After a relatively short shuffle, the card that presented itself to us is: Strength. 

Depicted on this card is Adam Young (our saucy little antichrist) as he bravely stands toe to toe with Satan himself.

Adam was created to bring about Armageddon, but he thinks that's a pretty stupid and awful idea, and cleverly uses the powers given to him when he was spawned by Lucifer, to outwit him. 

His bravery, cleverness, and his compassion for others allowed him to think outside the box as he dug deep within so that he could save the day. 

What does this indicate for us? Well, we're all being confronted with something... whether that's in our personal lives, or as a collective, or both only we as individuals can say.

However, regardless of the Devil we're facing, brutality and physical might are not the way to defeat it.

This is a time to discover what we're truly made of, and let other's opinions on the subject be damned.

We must do as Adam did. Dig beyond what we're being told our purpose is, and decide it for ourselves. This will require a certain level of bravery.

Our compassion is not a liability, it helps us to knit together support systems for ourselves and others. This support system them fortifies our courage and inner-strength.

These things feed into each other, helping us to grow into our own heroes. A symbolic Justice League, if you will, who are much stronger together than individually. 

So, let's take a deep breath, and get to building those support systems, and being clever in our tactics. 

Because Cleverness Trumps Brutality, every damn time.
