Foresight Friday: Sow the Seeds of a New Tomorrow

My Foresight Friday Interpretation: 

Happy Spring, Pixilators! Today is the spring equinox and, even though the weather can't seem to make up it's mind, we'll be enjoying consistently milder temps and beautiful blooms very soon. 

Now on to the business at hand..

We're sticking with The Princess Bride Tarot this week. I'm hoping to break it in so it will start to shuffle a little bit smoother (so far that's my only complaint... but it's a normal occurrence with new decks).

The card that presented itself to us this week is the Ace of Wands. 

Depicted on this card is Buttercup, as we see her at the beginning of The Princess Bride. She stands in the grounds of her farm that is bursting with lushness and potential. 

She is surrounded with flowers, green grass, and a sturdy tree, as the wind blows freely through her loosed tresses. 

At this time in her story, Buttercup's life is full of potential, and dreams of the future. The passion between her and her beloved Farm Boy has blossomed, and the two have begun to make plans that they how will ensure a happy ending. 

What does this mean for us? It means that this is the time for us to set plans in motion. This is merely the early stages of our long-term goals...be they personal, professional, and/or societal. 

As much as we may wish to impatiently proclaim "Skip to the ennnd " through gritted teeth (ala Humperdink, during the wedding scene), the best crops to harvest are those that have been carefully nurtured and patiently tended... not rushed. 

Remember that not only are patience and care required for a healthy outcome, but diversity as well. 

Planting a variety of seeds ensures the best utilization of the nutrients in the soil, invites more pollinators to the party, and will yield a more nutritious harvest. 

This is true whether we're talking about a real or a metaphorical garden. 

Let us be guided to plant what will be good for fulfillment of our physical, spiritual, and social desires. 

Now go on, get our there and Sow the Seeds of a New Tomorrow!!
