My Foresight Friday Interpretation: 

It's October 24th, one week until Samhain, and the weather around here has definitely been growing spookier.

Now, let's see what these cards want to tell us...

My Game of Thrones Tarot is still calling my name, and the card that presented itself to us is The Devil. 

Depicted on this card is the most heinous character in GoT (in my opinion): Ramsey Bolton. 

The Devil is a card of Ego, Materialism, and us feeling like slaves to work and debt. It suggests a time of being drained of our energy, vitality, dreams, and hope.

The Devil relishes in our suffering. Ramsey is the perfect representation of this as with him cruelty is not a means to an end...it is the entirety of the point. (sound like anyone we know??)

This card appears as an acknowledgement to what we are currently experiencing, but it does not have to be our continued fate. 

It is time to find our fortitude and break the chains that bind us. We cannot simply placate ourselves with temporary fixes. It's time to join forces with those of like mind and obliterate The Devil's hold on us. 

Since I pulled this card I've been hearing "Chains of Love" by Erasure playing over and over in my brain pan.

We're being told that our oppression is "for our own good", and that those in power know what's best for the us. We know better.

Their "love" is the shackles and chains that bind us to their will. 

Together, we can break them.
