Foresight Friday: This Too Shall Pass

My Foresight Friday Interpretation: 

Happy Friday, Friends! Last weekend the hubs and I enjoyed our first getaway together in 5yrs. It was a fantastic and peaceful break that we definitely needed (huge thanks to the amazing friends that lent us there cottage!).

Now, let's get to the task at hand...

This week’s card draw was done at a friend's house while I performed some cat sitting duties. My deck of choice? The Wild Unknown Tarot.

So, after lighting a candle and some incense, I took a big ol' sip of coffee and got to shuffling. The card that presented itself to us is the 5 of Pentacles. 

Depicted on this card is a red rose that looks like it's having a rough night. 

The full moon hovers overhead as rain pours down on our dejected looking rose.

They say that in every life a little rain must fall, and it looks like this is our week for it. 

We may feel the heaviness of the world, or experience isolation, financial hardship, illness, or other struggles. 

This may not be the most fun week we've ever had, but we can't let ourselves get bogged down in our troubles.  

Despite what we may feel, we are not alone. Finding comfort in trusted friends, the kindness of strangers, meditation, art, or even a good book - whatever we can do to quell the anxiety will help us to weather the storm. 

Whatever may feed our worries in the coming week, we must remember that -like the phases of the moon - this too shall pass.
