Foresight Friday: Let Vision & Experience Lead the Way

My Foresight Friday Interpretation: 

Hello again, Friends! It's Labor Day Weekend here in the States, and the overwhelming heat levels seem to have left us. 

We've been busy with some projects around the house, as well as welcoming a new kitty (who has been adjusting nicely to life indoors).

But now? Now we're gonna pull a card...

A relatively short shuffle of my Buffy the Vampire Slayer deck and the card that presented itself to us is the The King of Stakes. 

Depicted on this card is Xander. This is not the same happy-go-lucky, endlessly lighthearted goofball that is depicted on The Fool card. This is Xander after losing his eye to Caleb (the ruthless evil preacher portrayed by the iconic Nathan Fillion).

The Xander we get post Caleb is a Xander that has finally grasped the gravity of all they have endured, and have yet to face. 

He is still friendly and quick to throw quips, but he fully realizes that this is no game. 

He thinks outside the box, uses his energy to motivate others, and applies his experience when helping to lead others. 

Xander always saw things none of the others did, and has a large capacity for empathy. The remarkable thing is that, despite losing an eye, our more mature  patch-wearing Xander sees even more after his life-changing injury, and even has a greater capacity to empathize.

What does this mean for us? It means that it's time for us to use our own experience and unique insights to motivate and guide others to accomplish whatever we want to achieve. 

Think big picture. Think Legacy. Look for opportunities that will help us achieve these monumental long-term goals, and pounce on them. 

We're still dreamers, but we're far more cognizant of the real work that goes into making them come true.

We can't do it alone. But if we motivate others to join us and let Vision & Experience Lead the Way: We totally can. 😎
