Foresight Friday: Hype-Ville, Party of One.

My Foresight Friday Interpretation: 

Hey there, friends! I'm back after my eyeball zapping! The procedure was quick and not entirely painless; but the recovery was easy enough. So, huzzah for closing the eyeball hole!

Alright, enough of that let's get to the reading...

I'm using my Buffy the Vampire Slayer deck. (I've been reading all about the reboot that's in the works, so I felt the need to use it)

The card that presented itself to us is the 4 of Stakes in the reversed position. (has anyone else noticed the ridiculous amount of reversed cards we've had lately?? 👀)

This card greets us with a "Welcome to Sunnydale" sign in the foreground. The background depicts the silhouettes of Buffy facing her foe on the streets of her hometown. 

Upright, this would be a card of harmony (not to be confused with Harmony... who was anything but harmonious whether human or vamp 😆). It would also be a card of community, support, and public celebration. 

Buuuut, it's reversed. 

This indicates that things may not be as harmonious or cohesive as we would like. We may even feel a little disconnected from others, even unsupported. 

On the other hand, this card tells us that, on a personal level, we're feeling more stable. 

We may feel like sticking closer to home and working on things that help us to feel less chaotic. 

It's also a week in which we should make a point to celebrate even the smallest of victories. Whether we decide to clue others in on our successes remains to be seen, but the important thing is for us to recognize them ourselves. 

There's something to be said for being our own biggest cheerleader. We tend to criticize ourselves for each teeny "mistake", so let's counter that by hyping ourselves up when we get the little things right!

Try not to focus on this temporary division from/ with the outside world. We all need a bit of a break, and this card is telling us that now is the time to take it. 

Hype-Ville, party of one! You're table is ready. 😘
