Foresight Friday: Explore Your Inner Vistas

My Foresight Friday Interpretation: 

This Foresight Friday is a rough one for me, friends. Today would have been my mama's 69th birthday, and this year it seems to be hitting my kinda hard. (all the rain over the last couple days hasn't helped).

Alright, enough of the sad stuff, let's get on with this week's reading...

I switched to the Hocus Pocus Tarot for this week. 

The card that has presented itself to us this week (rather quickly, I might add) is: The Hermit.  

Depicted on the card is the grave of Billy Butcherson, the ever-berated former beau of Winifred Sanderson. 

Billy spent a lot of time doing Winnie's bidding when he was alive, and fell back into that old habit when she summoned him from his slumber. 

However, he eventually realized that he rather preferred the peace and quiet of the grave to the constant demands and shrieking of orders that were flung at him by the eldest Sanderson sister. 

He had 300 years of solitude and self-reflection. In the end, he gained the wisdom to end up on the right side of the centuries long conflict between the Sandersons and the citizens of Salem. 

So what does this mean for us? It means that it might be time for us to take a little time out. 

We may be feeling anti-social, or just need time to be introspective. 

It's time to learn from our past mistakes and, if necessary, pass our wisdom on to someone who may need it. 

Everyone needs a little quality alone time every once in a while. This is our week to give ourselves what we need. 

Perhaps we should explore the Inner Vistas of the Soul by writing in a journal, creating poetry, sketching, painting, creating a culinary masterpiece, or hell... even playing with Legos. 

Much can be gleaned from our creative endeavors... this week could be just the time to see what we can discover.
