My Foresight Friday Interpretation:

Hey there, peeps! Welcome to the May 3rd edition of foresight Friday. I can't believe we're into May already, but that's okay, it means the weather is starting to improve!

Speaking of which, it's supposed to be pretty nice today so,  let's get this show on the road.

My brain is still in a state of chaos, soooo I'm sticking with The Wild Unknown Tarot.

A super quick shuffle and card flip later,  the card that presented itself to us is: The HangedMan.

The Hanged Man card from The Wild Unknown Tarot.

Depicted on the card is a beauty of a bat that has its wings wrapped tightly around its body while hanging from a branch.

Something is happening, or is about to happen, that we're not thrilled about dealing with.

The Hanged Man has appeared to remind us that when we go about picking our battles... we skip this one.

Meaning that this week we need to let go of how we thought things were going to be, and accept them for how they are

In this case, resistance really is futile.

If we stop struggling, relax, and look at things from a different perspective we may gain enough insight to see us through the storm.

For the Potterheads, think of it this way...

When Hermione, Ron, and Harry find themselves entangled in a boatload of Devil's Snare after getting past Fluffy in The Sorcerer's/Philosopher's Stone, Hermione tells the boys they need to relax (see gif below).

Hermione tells Harry and Ron "Stop moving, both of you. This is Devil's Snare. You have to relax. If you don't, it will only kill you faster."

Afterwards she demonstrates by taking a moment to focus on just relaxing, and we see her slide smoothly and effortlessly through to the other side of the strangle-happy obstacle.

Ron proceeds to panic some more.

The light bulb of understanding goes off in Harry's head and he follows Hermione's example.

After watching Harry disappear, Ron kind of goes all sorts of bananas which leads the plant's hold on him to get exponentially worse.

Were he alone, this would have lead to his demise, but Hermione ultimately came to his rescue.

The point here is to not give in to the urge to panic.

We must keep as level a head as possible and make a conscious effort to relax in the face of whatever it is that has ensnared us.

Using our brains, along with the resources and support systems available to us, will help us get through to the other side of this crisis.

So, when life hands you fuckery: try to calm the Ron Weasley within and channel your inner Hermione Granger instead.

Most of all, no matter how rough it gets, just hang in there. 💗
