My Foresight Friday Interpretation:

Howdy folks! I do hope you all had the opportunity and courage to speak your minds this past week...even if only to tell yourself what's what. lol

Let's see what this week's reading has to say...

We're still using The Dark Crystal Tarot this week, and the card that has presented itself to us this week is: The Hermit, in the reversed position. We sure have been seeing a lot of reversed cards of late...that seems kind of bonkers to me, but I digress...

Depicted on this card is UrSen the Monk - a Mystic that spent roughly a century living in a cave engaging in deep, solitary, contemplation.

The Hermit card from The Dark Crystal Tarot in the reversed position.

This, of course, makes him the perfect character to represent The Hermit. Were this card in the upright position, it would indicate a need to withdraw in order to engage in some self-exploration and quiet contemplation.

So what does it mean for us that it's reversed? It means that we've been in our respective caves long enough. Our solitude has served it's purpose, and if we continue on we run the risk of venturing into being straight up anti-social or to letting our solitude turn to loneliness.

This is a call for us to emerge from the depths and reconnect with friends, family, and the world at large.

The solitude and darkness of Winter has served its purpose, but now it's time to channel our inner Ponyboy Curtis and step out into the bright sunlight, from the darkness of our proverbial movie house. We can leave thoughts of Paul Newman out of it though...(or hey, go ahead and think about him if you want, I'm not your mom. lol) It's time to set our minds to being a part of things again.

So get out there and make some plans. Get coffee with a friend, have a small dinner party, join a book club, volunteer in the community, partake of local theater groups. Whatever you choose, just get on out there!

Until Next Time, Pixilators!
