My Foresight Friday Interpretation:

Howdy, folks! January is whizzing by in the most frigid of ways. Looks like Old Man Winter hit his snooze button one too many times and is trying to cram in all of his work now in order to make up for being late. lol

I do hope that, despite the harshness of the weather, you are all doing your best to hang in there.

Let's see what the cards have to say about the coming week...

The Wild Unknown Tarot is still my current deck of choice, and the card that presented itself to us is The Lovers, in the reversed position.

Depicted on the card is a pair of Canadian Geese soaring high in a bright & colorful sky.

The Lovers card from The Wild Unknown Tarot in the reversed position.

The creator of this deck didn't deal in reversed meanings in the creation of this deck. That's fine, because I generally listen to my intuition in order to determine if a reversed interpretation is in order or not. In this instance, it is.

Upright the card is about love, partnership, harmonious relationships of all sorts, and balance. The Lovers reversed tends to indicate that things are a bit off kilter.

This week, in particular, is looking like we need to focus on self-love, self-respect, and bringing our emotional/mental/physical selves back into a state of balance and peace, rather than upheaval and disquiet.

When we are unbalanced, and feeling disconnected from things, it may just be because we've disconnected from ourselves. Taking some time to ourselves in order to remedy the situation may be the best course of action.

We should do our best to make peace with our broken pieces, recognize and appreciate our strengths, and forgive our weaknesses. Remember that the goal is to live an interesting life, not a perfect one. Perfect is boring (not to mention wholly unrealistic) and with that I'll leave you with a quote from the Starman himself:

"I don't know where I 'm going from here, but I promise it won't be boring." ~ David Bowie
