My Foresight Friday Interpretation:

Friday is here again, my peeps! I do hope you were all able to mitigate the chaos that is LIFE and prioritize what really needed to happen, as well as take the opportunity to do some living in the moment.

I had my post-surgery follow up with my dentist, and things are looking good! That means I am on the calendar to get my crown for my implant in December. <insert happy dance here.>

On that happy note, let's get down to business...

The Buffy/Angel Binge-a-thon is still ongoing, so I'm sticking with the Buffy the Vampire Slayer tarot.

After a nice, long shuffle, the card that presented itself to us today is The Chariot.

The Chariot card from The Buffy the Vampire Slayer tarot.

Depicted on The Chariot is Cordelia Chase. Cordie is confident, driven, and has her eyes on the prize.

She may not be the Slayer, but she is definitely a force to be reckoned with. Cordelia knows what she wants, and will not let a little thing like obstacles get in her way.

For us, this means that we'll be feeling motivated and focused enough to move forward towards our goals.

We'll have the resourcefulness to zoom around things that may try to get in our way. We have to be wary, though. We can't get so caught up in where we want to go that we channel Cordelia's less attractive qualities...like running over those that cross her path.

So, let's stay focused on what's important, remain confident, mindful, and kind, and when you see that red convertible - er, I mean Chariot pull up to the curb: Get in it, because we're going places.

Until Next Time, Pixilators!

  1. I really like Cordi and her Corvette as the Chariot. When push came to shove she drove that thing right into the school hallway without looking side to side. FOCUS. Sure Cordi had her issues, but she really changed by time her story was finished. She became a true vessel for good. and yeah okay she got used horribly and I hated what the show did to her, but even in her ending she remained good, true and laser focused on the goal and saw the true path of good. She moved beyond her past. (and in the audio book podcast that is coming out it's in an alternate universe where Cordi is the Slayer... which sounds very interesting especially since Charisma originally auditioned for the roll of Buffy)

    1. Exactly! Cordelia Chase is the one who always comes through in the end, even if she really didn't WANT to. She's incredibly resilient, resourceful, and fierce!!
