My Foresight Friday Interpretation:

Friday is here once again and, at least where I am, the weather has started to turn cooler just in time for Mabon! I'm looking forward to making some comfort food and having a nice quiet celebration.

Now, let's see what the cards have to tell us...

I decided to stick with The Wild Unknown Tarot and the card that presented itself to us is the Temperance.

Depicted on the card is a Great Blue Heron, who appears to be leaning over a fire as he shakes the water from his feathers in order to temper the flames below.

The Temperance card from The Wild Unknown Tarot.

This card is our call to do what we can to bring our topsy-turvy worlds back into some kind of balance. I know, that can be easier said than done, but the cards are letting us know that the time for balance is now, and that we are the ones that need to ensure that it happens.

So, how do we go about this? As the title for this post suggests, we do it by summoning some sense and tempering our sensibilities (duh ðŸĪŠ). Meaning what? Well, meaning that we need to be thoughtful and practical while keeping our passions and emotions in check.

Getting upset or acting rashly will only upset the metaphorical Mabon Apple cart. Staying calm and taking a step back to gain perspective is the way to go.

This is the week to find that pool of common sense that dwells within and wade into it with clear intentions. We must be the calming presence we'd like to see in the world.

Now is not the time for giving in to all of our whims and desires; acting in such a self-indulgent manner at this juncture will only lead to recklessness, clashes with others, and knocking our world off kilter.

This doesn't mean that we must be unfeeling, on the contrary, we may still feel things in a deep and profound way...we just mustn't let those feelings take the reigns. Take them into consideration, certainly... we just shouldn't rely on them as our sole source of input when it comes to decision making.

That's all I've got this weeks, folks. Have yourselves a lovely Mabon and I'll see you in the Autumn!

Until Next Time, Pixilators!
