Foresight Friday: Time to Cut the Shit

Divination Method: The Wild Unknown Tarot

Card Drawn: Daughter of Swords

Key Words: Honest, Insightful

My Foresight Friday Interpretation:

Hey there, friends! I hope you're all doing well as you venture up your proverbial mountains from last week. I know I've had a lot of reminders regarding the amazing support system I have, as well as the one I'm a part of for others. So, even though there's been a couple WTF days, overall, I can't complain.

Alrighty: Let’s take a peek at this week's card...

This week’s card from The Wild Unknown Tarot is the Daughter of Swords.

This card depicts a young owl perched upon a single sword. The background gives off a feeling of activity, with a few things floating about to catch her attention.

The Daughter of Swords is an ever vigilant watcher. She is known for being helpful, offering insight, and for pulling no punches.

The Daughter of Swords card from The Wild Unknown Tarot.

There isn't much that gets by her,  as it's in her nature to notice every little frikken thing that goes on around her. This can take its toll, and has the potential to sew the seeds of bitterness and/or judgment towards the events she witnesses (as well as those involved).

The last time this card appeared for us, we were called to offer insight and refrain from snark. This time? This time, I'm getting a distinct image of grasping the sword the Daughter sits upon and using it to cut through the shit in order to get down to business.

That doesn't mean it's ok to give into the Snark Monster, but it does mean that we're in a pull no punches vibe. It seems that the little things floating around us this week are excuses, delusions, and falsehoods we've been telling ourselves (or others) as we try to justify us not being where we want /need to be at this juncture.

We're not doing ourselves any favors by continuing on the way we have been. So, let's just knock that shit off, shall we? Let's move forward without our excuses and by seeing things the way they are. Then we can end up where we ought to be.

Until Next Time, Pixilators!
