Foresight Friday: Need Guidance? Ask the Moon.

My Foresight Friday Interpretation:

It's Friday again, Pixilators! It's been a bit bonkers this past week, with air quality warnings here on the east coast coupled with several days of living in a sepia toned world due to wildfire smoke drifting south from Canada. It was like living in a photograph from the 1970's...I found it both surreal and unsettling. As troubling as it has been here, my heart goes out to those in Canada who are in the midst of the fires. Fingers crossed they're able to put them out soon.

Now, let's get down to the business of flinging cards!

The card that has shown itself to us this week is Evening Primrose.

The key words for Evening Primrose are Moon Magic...so let's see what that means for us.

Rachel’s Words of Wisdom, as I like to call them, in regards to this nocturnal bloom are as follows: 

“See the glow of magic in the night, 

'tis the moon shining her beautiful light. 

Seek her counsel, while you bathe in her glow, 

ask her for advice, 'bout what you need to know. 

Under the moonlight, see what moves in the dark, 

allow what you see here, to reignite your spark.” 

As a flower that blooms at night, Evening Primrose is very much aligned with the moon. This seems to be an indication that we should be as well.

If we take a look at the phase of the moon this week, we will see that it is currently waning. What does that mean for us?

It means that we should focus on things related to the energies associated with the waning moon, such as: releasing the old, eliminating obstacles, and removing harm or negativity.

We can do this by crafting spells surrounding the current moon phase's energy, or we could simply spend some time sitting out beneath the night sky reflecting what it is we've been needlessly holding on to, and how best to release it. 

If we are unclear as to what that might be, we must ask for this hidden knowledge to be revealed to us so that we can do what we must in order to make way for new and exciting things. It really is as simple as asking the Moon for guidance...and remembering to keep ourselves open to receiving the answers, whatever they may be.

So, go enjoy the night air, and let the Moon guide you... She knows the way.
