Foresight Friday: Welcome Your Fate Like an Old Friend

Divination Method: The Labyrinth Tarot

Card Drawn: Fate

Key Words: Change, Transition, Metamorphosis

My Foresight Friday Interpretation:

Autumn is upon us, friends, and the weather here in Western New York is embracing the change in seasons. I am LOVING IT!

Hopefully you got through the week without judging yourselves too harshly. Surprisingly, I did a pretty good job of shutting down my inner critic last week, so: Yay, Me!

Alrighty, let's get down to business and see what these cards have to say...

The Labyrinth Tarot is still my deck of choice this week, and the card that has presented itself to us is: Fate.

Depicted on this card is shape-shifter extraordinaire, Jareth, disguised as the blind beggar that Sarah and Hoggle come across in the oubliette.

Fate card from the Labyrinth Tarot.

I like this imagery for the card, as it brings to mind the Fate card's meanings of Change, Transition, and Metamorphosis.

Changes are happening, and in a timely manner (hell, we're even in the midst of a seasonal change with yesterday's Equinox).

Change and transformation are inevitable things, but those that are brought about by Fate tend to be biggies. These changes also tend to indicate the end or beginning of something.

Regardless, Fate cannot be outrun, nor avoided, and there's really no reason to even try.

Whatever is to come, the Fate card is our reassurance that it is meant to be. Our future is full of promise, and we have nothing to fear. In fact, we should welcome it like an old friend, because it will not lead us astray.

I'm gonna leave you with a line out of  The Beatles song "All You Need is Love" penned by the late, great John Lennon (although credit was given to the Lennon/McCartney partnership):

"There's nowhere you can be that isn't where you're meant to be."

Until Next Time, Pixilators!

Wishing You Peace, Love, & Pixie Dust
