Foresight Friday: Memory Lane Provides Valued Insight

Divination Method: Hocus Pocus Tarot

Card Drawn: 6 of Potions

Key Words: Nostalgia, Childhood, Sharing, Support

My Foresight Friday Interpretation:

It's Foresight Friday, Peeps! I've spent the last week experiencing some tendonitis in my hands...so haven't been able to do much other than get carefully through my day job. Just another lesson in patience, I suppose (wish I'd learn it already so the Universe would just stop testing me, lol).

Anyway, we're in the latter part of August now, and the last few nights have been cooler...which have sparked thoughts of Autumn, which - OF COURSE - means we're back with the Hocus Pocus Tarot for this week's reading. So, let's find out what it has to say...

This week's card is the 6 of Potions. This particular potion consists of a cauldron labeled "Dead Man's Toes". Five toes are in the cauldron, with a 6th just outside of it.

The 6 of Potions card from Disney's Hocus Pocus tarot.

I find that interesting. Why? Because, in dreams (and...real life, lol) toes are all about support and stabilization. Also, since the toes are those of a dead man, they also give a nod to this card relating to nostalgia. I mean, if a bowl full of dead toes doesn't spark thoughts of what once was, I don't know what will. 😂).

So yes, this card denotes elements of nostalgia and support. It's also about sharing and childhood.

What does all that mean? It sounds a bit like random key words were just thrown together, but that's not it. It means that we're going to be spending a little time strolling down Memory Lane, and that those memories are going to be a means of support for someone...or for ourselves.

Now, whether that is by way of relaying family stories to younger generations, sharing pertinent stories of our misspent youth to someone who needs to hear the lesson learned, or by spending a little time nurturing our inner child by indulging in having our favorite ice cream for dinner...well, that's up to us.

Hell, it may even end up being as simple as catching up with an old friend...or all of the above.

We just need to be careful not to get stuck in the past. Reminiscing is perfectly healthy, and can even be healing. Dwelling on things, however, can leave us in worse shape than we started.

That's all I got, Peeps! Now, go forth and start strolling down Memory Lane.

Until Next Time, Pixilators!

Wishing You Peace, Love, & Pixie Dust
