My Foresight Friday Interpretation:

Hello again, Pixilators! Autumn is in full swing, the nights are cooler, the days are grayer, and the veil between worlds grows ever thinner as we come closer to Samhain. Hopefully y’all were able to take the last week to root yourselves, recharge, and connect with what is important to you, because this next week may prove to be a bit more challenging.

Today is the inaugural use of my new Labyrinth Tarot!!! I pre-ordered it months ago, and it finally arrived. Let’s see what it wants to tell us...

The card that presented itself to us is the 5 of Feathers. The image is that of a central Feather that is being circled by 4 others.

It is an indicator of confrontation and/or conflict, that while unpleasant, is usually necessary. It suggests to me feelings of being a bit overwhelmed by too many tasks, or too many people requiring our attention.

This is no time to panic, however. We must keep our wits about us, and use them to craft a way out of the mess that we find ourselves in.

Five of Feathers card from Jim Henson's Labyrinth Tarot.

There is a way for us to juggle all the tasks at hand, we just need to have a solid plan of action. We’ll only get into trouble if we go at the situation hastily. Be mindful though, as Feathers must be handled with care. If not, they could be damaged, blow away, or even poke us in the eye if we aren’t careful.

Whatever is coming is unavoidable. Trying to ignore it or letting our emotions get the better of us will only make the situation harder to deal with.

We will find ourselves surrounded by the problem at hand, because it can no longer be ignored.

Remembering to pause, taking a breath (or two), and using our intellect are the keys to surviving the week ahead.

Once we’ve figured out how to solve the issues that we face...even if that means walking away from them (as, sometimes that is the only viable solution), we may want to surround ourselves with friends, family, and/or nature to help soothe any wounds we may have as a result of our respective conflicts. You know, flip the script, and trade the stressful circle for a comforting one.

Until Next Time, Pixilators.

Wishing You Peace, Love, & Pixie Dust
