Foresight Friday: We Can See Clearly Now

My Foresight Friday Interpretation: 

It’s Friday again folks: WE MADE IT! Hopefully all your inner flames went bonkers (in an effective way), shed a little light on things, and helped you get all sorts of fired up for what comes next. And that’s the question of the hour, isn’t it: What Comes Next? 

Gotta keep reading to find that out. 😉 

I’m sticking with The Wild Unknown Tarot this week because I’m just digging its vibes right now. I haven’t had time to focus on any of my own art, save for the pics in this blog and the ones I create for Affirmation Monday (If you don’t know what Affirmation Monday is, then you’re not following me on any of the social places, and we gonna have words). I think that’s why I’m being drawn to these cards. It may not be my artwork, but it is artwork that I love and that resonates with me...and when we’re talking divination, that’s important. 

ANYWAY, this week The Emperor is in town! He is depicted as a towering, firmly rooted tree, being fueled by the energy of the blazing sun that’s shining above him. 

The Emperor brings big protection energy with him, as well as a heaping helping of some much-needed clarity. This clarity of mind is likely to lead to some decisive action and solid choices from us. 

As Johnny Nash so joyfully sang:  

“I can see clearly now the rain is gone. 

I can see all obstacles in my way. 

Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind. 

It’s gonna be a bright, bright, sunshiny day.” 

This card can sometimes indicate the involvement of a Father figure, but it also points to us being the Father figure for ourselves. What I mean is, if the relationship with those who were supposed to act as the sensible, grounded, protective, and guiding beings in our lives have dropped the ball in that regard, then it's time for us to find those qualities within ourselves and act in our own best interests. 

This card (which, incidentally, gently fluttered out of the deck as I was shuffling and landed face up at my feet) has me quite excited for the week to come.
