Foresight Friday: Who Do You Trust to Fork Over The Truth?

Divination Method: The Sidhe Oracle of the Fleeting Hare

Card Drawn: The Truthful Hare

Key Word(s): Truth, Trust, Discernment

My Foresight Friday Interpretation:

We are living in tumultuous times. We are up to our eyeballs in information about the upcoming Presidential Election here in the States, The Covid-19 Pandemic, Social Justice Issues, Climate Change, or any number of other polarizing topics.

We are bombarded with speeches, headlines, soundbites, talking points, and even memes that range from highly factual to dangerously false - and everywhere in between.

On top of all of this we’re still trying to make something of our own lives, as well as help those we care about do the same.

With so many important things going on, and being caught in a veritable whirlwind of input, it can be difficult to discern what the Truth really is.

Brace yourself for another vintage pop culture reference folks, because ever since I drew this card, I've heard Jack Nicholson's Joker in my head saying "Who do you trust?". Now, even if you've never seen a single incarnation of Batman in films, TV, or graphic novels, I'm fairly confident that y'all know that The Joker is NOT the one you shouuld be trusting (unless you're simply trusting him to be bad news). Here's the scene in which this iconic line is delivered...and it's fairly obvious that the desperate citizens of Gotham are quite willing to give their trust to anyone, so long as they are flashy, smile a lot, and throw money at them, LOL.

Please, let us NOT emulate the citizens of Gotham. We should, however ask ourselves what The Joker asked...Who do we trust? Now, dig a little bit deeper: Why do we trust them? Once we've asked those, we should also pose a few other questions such as: Should we trust them? Is there someone more trustworthy? Do we trust ourselves?

The Truthful Hare is here to tell us that it's

The Truthful Hare Card from The Sidhe Oracle of the Fleeting Hare deck.
time for us to sort through all the jibber jabber and pick out the things that are right.

If nothing else, hopefully we can Trust in The Universe to nudge us in the right direction. Correction! We should trust in OURSELVES to acknowledge and do something about the nudges The Universe sends our way.

No matter the situation, Global, Societal, or Mundane - we are being advised to pay attention and be discerning in who and what we choose to trust. This includes examining the things we have always deemed The Truth. Are they really? There's no need to be defensive if we find we no longer believe those things we've clung to for so long. Release that which no longer holds water, and embrace the deeper truths that have been revealed.

If something sounds too good to be true, it probably is. We can't believe something simply because it sounds good and we WANT it to be true. We can, by all means, try to make something that sounds fab into a reality... but, we'll have to dig deeper to find the right folks (and means) to make it happen.

That's all I've got for you this week.  Remember, if you'd like a personal reading head on over to the Contact the Pixie page and send me an email to get details. 😘

Until Next Time, Pixilators!
