My Interpretation:

Remember how a couple weeks back The Bone Collector was telling us that everything we needed to accomplish our goals was already within us?

Well, Athena is here to tell us it’s time to stop thinking about what we want to do, get off of our collective duffs, and DO THE THING.

She reminds us that the answers we have sought are already within us, all we need do at this point is act on them.

Been mulling over some shit for a while? Y’know things like: a career change, moving, starting a long overdue project, wanting to be healthier, learn something new, or how to end systemic racism? Looks like now is our time to put our money where our big mouths are. (OK, I do indeed have a big mouth, so maybe that’s just for me, lol).

It's time to STOP:

• STOP second guessing yourself
• STOP giving your power away to others that would control you
• STOP procrastinating

It's time to START:

• START trusting your gut
• START knowing you're correct
• START taking action

So, what else is Athena telling us today? Well, when I look at this card, I don’t just see Athena, but I notice her Owl friend along with a long strand of ivy trailing below him.

Owls are known symbols of wisdom, but they are also cunning in their use of it. They will watch and wait for the opportune moment, and when that moment arrives they act swiftly and deliberately.

The Ivy isn’t just there for a pretty decorative addition, it is representative of endurance and resilience. I mean, have you ever tried to get rid of Ivy that was encroaching where you didn’t want it? It can be damned near impossible.

So what do the Owl and Ivy have to do with all this? Well, couple those with what Athena has already told us, as well as the fact that Athena is not only the Goddess of Wisdom, but also of War, and what you get is a clear message of: 

YOU'VE TOTALLY GOT THIS!

We have the tools of Inner Wisdom, Cunning, and an Enduring Warrior Spirit that were given to us by The Universe. It’s time for us to unwrap all of these magnificent gifts we’ve been given, and put them to work.
